# Mahalia Swim Returns Policy

At Mahalia Swim, we want you to absolutely love your swimwear. However, we understand that sometimes a bikini isn't quite right, whether that's the size, fit or simply a change of mind.

This Returns Policy explains how to return your Mahalia Swim order.

## 1. Your Right to Return

If you purchase from Mahalia Swim online, you have the legal right to return your order within **14 day of receiving your order**, without having to give a reason.

If you purchase from Mahalia Swim online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within **24 hours of purchasing your order**, without having to give a reason.

This does not affect your legal rights where an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or does not meet the requirements of UK consumer law.

## 2. Swimwear Hygiene Requirements

Because bikinis are intimate garments, we take hygiene very seriously.

For a change-of-mind return to be accepted:

* The bikini must be **unworn and unused**.
* The bikini must be returned in its original condition.
* All original hygiene liners must remain attached and intact.
* All original tags must remain attached.
* The bikini must not have been washed, worn, stained, marked or damaged.
* The bikini must be returned in its original packaging where reasonably possible.
* Please do not try on swimwear directly against bare skin.

For hygiene reasons, we reserve the right to refuse a return where the item has been worn, used, soiled or where the hygiene protection has been removed.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the item is faulty or otherwise does not conform to your legal rights.

## 3. How to Request a Return

To request a return, please contact us at:

* Your full name
* Order number
* The item(s) you wish to return
* The reason for your return

We will provide you with the relevant return instructions.

## 4. Return Postage

Unless your item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, **the cost of returning an unwanted item is the customer's responsibility**.

We recommend using a tracked postal service and keeping your proof of postage until your return has been processed.

Mahalia Swim cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged while being returned to us where the customer has chosen their own return method.

## 5. Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will confirm whether the return has been accepted.

Where you have exercised your statutory right to cancel, we will issue your refund within **14 days of receiving the returned goods**, subject to the applicable legal requirements.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.

Where applicable, your refund will include the cost of our **standard delivery service**. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, we are only required to refund the cost of the standard delivery service.

We may make a deduction from your refund if the returned item has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it and its value has been reduced as a result.

## 6. Faulty or Incorrect Items

We are sorry if there is a problem with your order.

If you receive an item that is:

* Faulty
* Damaged
* Incorrect
* Not as described
* Missing from your order

We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, offer a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy in accordance with your legal rights.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this Returns Policy.

Sale items are eligible for returns in accordance with this policy unless clearly stated otherwise.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected by any promotion or sale.

Where an exchange is available, we will provide instructions. Availability cannot be guaranteed as stock levels may change.
